The Fuji Xerox web page referred to above states clearly that there is no driver available for the Docuprint 203A for windows 8. I also have this problem, and am unable to install and use my printer with my new Windows laptop. Please help.
Right, this was a tough one - Fuji Xerox appear to have abandoned the 203A, and there is no way to get an official driver to run it in Windows 8.
The 203a is identical to the Brother hl 2030 printer. If you go to Devices and Printers in the control panel, click add a printer with your 203A plugged in, click the printer I want wasn t listed, select add a local printer or network printer with
manual settings, then click next, under the use an existing port select the USB your printer is plugged into, then select the driver manually, it can be made to work just fine.
The printer needs to be installed using the Brother Laser Leg Type 2 Class Driver.
Good luck, it s a complicated path, and I m well aware that my instructions trail off at the end, as I don t exactly remember the steps I took. Hopefully this will at least point you in the right direction.
I try the steps as above but the printer fail to print.
After that, I click 203A that appears as unspecified category in Device and Printers, I then update the driver using driver for Brother HL-2030 Series driver, after updating the driver, my 203A printer are able to print.

May I know how to get printer driver for Xerox DocuPrint 203A that is compatible with window 8 pro.
In passing, I used the Brother Laser Leg Type 2 Class Driver driver
Worked like a charm - for 2 days- then the computer couldn t see it anymore
So long story short and some 40-50 hours of frustration later over a week or so
eventually found that the printer cable had gone U/S - go figure that one
talk about timing - so with new cable and it s working fine again
But the better news is that in the meantime I researched the cost/advantages etc
of refilling the cartridges instead of buying new ones
This also involves resetting and other means of using all the toner powder that is in the cartridge
Like covering the little window on the side of the drum cartridge
or resetting the cam on the side of the cartridge
So now I am using the original toner cartridge that came with the 203A printer years ago
and it is working as good as new - just put tape over the little window as it doesn t have a cam thingo
lucky that I just put it in the box that the new one came in and threw it in the back of the cupboard
as soon as it stops printing properly I will put in the second cartridge that we replaced
it is a high yield cartridge and has the cam on the side - this has been rest - no big deal at all - 2 minutes
after that will go back to the new one that we got just before this whole saga started -
hopefully this will be a couple of years worth of printing
I find it quite extraordinary that we throw away toner cartridges that are preset to stop working
and in fact still contain usable powder
Well now a year later and the trusty old 203A is running OK and still on the old toner cartridges.
The one that came with the printer finally ran out and now running with the first high yield cartridge with the cam reset. Still got the new almost unused one to go.
Now looking at getting toner powder to reload the Brother HL2130 that has just run out of toner
The Brother 2130 is a lot easier to reset the toner cartridge, no cams to reset or windows to cover
All you have to do reset the machine using the green button on the printer - takes about 30 seconds
